About the Role:
Intern needed to join the team at a fast paced customer focused community pharmacy in the North QLD Mining Town starting October or November work as Pharmacy Assistant and starting January 2026 for 1 year Intern program. Successful applicants must have the following qualities. Strong communication skills , friendly , cheerful and organised. Intern would be exposed to all aspects of community retail pharmacy including: Dispensing , Webster packing , 8CPA implementation and patient consultation etc.

The Pharmacy is located in a city in the Gulf Country region of QLD. Approx 900 km west of townsville. This city is one of the most productive singles mines in the world. With an estimated population of 22,000. The city's position provides an enviable climate which makes it possible to enjoy the outdoors throughout the entire year. It offers all of the conveniences available in a large city, with the sense of community that only a small city/town can offer. It boasts a vibrant culture, with cinema, theatres, an entertainment centre and more.

About the Offer:
You will be working with your Preceptor. Training and experience across all specialist areas in the pharmacy.
You will be working full time 38 hours per week.
Pharmacy trades 7 days Mon - Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 8am-3pm and Sun 8.30am-1pm. Award rate on offer. Share Accommodation provided in a 2 bedrooms unit. Relocation allowance by negotiation.
