About the Role:
We are seeking a full time Pharmacist in Charge to join the team at a pharmacy in the Riverina Region. This pharmacy pride themselves on providing high quality customer service and attention to detail. As a QCPP accredited Pharmacy they have access to the broad range of prescription and over the counter medication options their customers might require. They also provide primary care services such as ongoing blood pressure monitoring, access to NDSS products and free health and medication advice.
As Pharmacist in Charge you will oversee the day to day operations of a small community pharmacy including both its business and pharmacy operations. You will report to the managing partner as required. Your main responsibilities (in co-operation with the Dispensing tech) will include supply of prescription medication, supply of over the counter medications, provision of medicines information, health care advice and referral to doctors where required. You will also assist in the management and ordering of stock as required. As a QCPP Accredited Pharmacy, you will be required to ensure that all operations are consistent with the elements of the QCPP and documentation is up to date.
About Our Ideal Candidate:
- You have current PDL insurance
- You have previous experience in community pharmacy
- Previous experience with small pharmacy business operations is desirable but not essential
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- You have strong teamwork skills
- You are passionate about community pharmacy
About the Location:
This pharmacy is located in a town in the north-east Riverina region of NSW. It is home to approximately 4000 residents and its primary industries are agriculture and tourism. The town offers a relaxed, country feel as well as being home to a number of services and conveniences including schools, a TAFE, a small hospital, and a number of medical and dental practices as well as cafes and other retail shops. The town is easily accessible by road, train or air.
About the Offer:
5 days per week, 9am to 6.30pm including alternate weekends, competitive salary negotiable based on candidates experience, relocation assistance negotiable.
